One year ago, five of the most talked about MC's in Atlanta's underground scene joined forces to create The 5ive. Originally named The R.E.G.I.M.E (REGULAR EVERYDAY GENERALS INITIATING MIC EXCELLENCE) the aforementioned conglomerate spent 2009 impressing fans in and around the ATL- thus creating an impressive buzz. During its mere 12 months of existence, the group has shared the stage with Hip Hop heavyweights such as: KRS-One, Raekwon, Killer Mike, Slaughterhouse, and D12. Their forthcoming LP is highly anticipated, boasting production from Diamond D, The Alchemist, 9th Wonder, First Born, Hannibal the Beat Animal and others. Now as the one year anniversary of The 5ive is upon us, the self proclaimed 'quintet of bosses' (Big Rec, Shred the Verbal Tongue, Jawz of Life, KP and Anderson Scott) prepare to celebrate in the place where it all started, The Apache Cafe.

The show will feature each member performing 7-10 minutes of hits from his solo catalog, then The 5ive will begin its set. The 5ive set will feature a live band, and all 5 MC's rocking together in their already legendary fashion.
